Position Title: Water Treatment Plant Operator/Trainee
Department: WTP Operations
Classification: Classified Full-Time
Status: Non-exempt (Hourly)
The Glasgow Water Company is accepting applications for the position of Water Plant (WTP) Operator/Trainee. A WTP Operator performs complex, administrative and technical work in the operation of the water treatment plant.
Graduation from an accredited high school or its equivalent (GED) is required. Graduation from a two (2) year technical school with major course work in water treatment operations is desirable. Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related field is preferred.
